busy weekend of doing nothing. i ended up with a haircut on thursday, saw final fantasy last night, and got snatch on dvd today. all in all, a fairly uneventful eventuality.

the haircut speaks for itself. thursday also saw the dsl modem arriving and the mac got updated to os x.

ahhh…dsl. let's put it this way: i'm still using the dial-up. the modem they sent me locks my computer up every time i try to do anything more than talking on aim. and to think i was excited to see 3com on the box. i tried downloading new drivers, reinstalling the device time after time, cursing at it, and i even asked it nicely. still nothing. the son of a bitch just generally dislikes me.

on the plus side, the mac is working beautifully. i've even got the internet sharing up (granted we're sharing a 56k) and running between the two.

final fantasy was a thumbs up and a thumbs down, in my opinion. the animation was amazing, but the story was completely unintelligible, as per it's japanese roots. actually…it was intelligible. it just had a lot to do with spirits of the earth and all that hooey.

snatch on dvd, on the other hand…god i love that movie. watching it again reminds me of how brilliant brad pitt is in his role. i recommend the dvd. it's a 2 disc set with loads of extras.

other than that? not a damn thing. i've been sucked into gran turismo 3, lately, so honestly…i'm not getting out much.
