2002.11.07 my head's on fire at high speed:
well…i've somhow stumbled my way into a showing of some of my joycam pieces at an art opening tonight. i've been working at blowing them up to 8×10, and someone wanted to see them. the next thing i know, i've got myself an art show. the funny thing about this whole deal is that the pieces that found their way into the show aren't even the ones i wanted to do. i had to settle for a different series at the last minute. the ones in the show were actually hanging in elizabeth's bathroom until…oh…monday when i took them down to the space. heh. i only have scans of four of the six, but you can see them here:
i'm also putting together a little book of other snapshots to go along with it. all in all, it's a huge mess of joycam madness. i should be sponsored by fuckin' polaroid.
time to go occupy myself for a few hours…
