this is quite possibly the funniest thing ever. who here really needs proof that the onion rocks ass? well if you do, here it is.
another day winds to a close, and i'm still trying to figure out what to do with myself. i guess i can talk about shit until i'm blue in the face, but it'll never do me any good.
i'm just happy that i'll be going to bloomington to see the casket lottery again next weekend. i really miss those guys.
have a good night, little ones…
nice to see that matt finally updated a little bit over there. he's slow, but he'll warm up to this gig sooner or later.
on matt: we only push him and goad him because we know he will refuse. it's fun to watch matt completely ignore our efforts. at least he knows we genuinely care.
i hadn't visited kempa.com in a while, so it's nice to know adam is still plugging away over there. despite his purchase of a portable mp3 player…now he probably spends 16 hours out of the day on napster. oh well.
if you like live indie-rock, and you've exhausted the transmission3000 archives, check out indie-pop live. he's got some awesome shows, and he's a damn cool kid in general.
i have to go pretend like i'm working…
a certain kerroo likes to talk smack. she obviously isn't up on her fincher. cut the speculation.
this hurts. sebastian and i are close to tears. if anyone wants to buy those for us and split them down the middle…we'll be your friends. really. forever.
and my fucking name is not slim.
the most beautiful thing… enjoy it. transmission3000 is linked, so they can't be half bad…
on the subject of the kerroo spat: she emailed me back and she is now and forevermore in my good graces. otherwise she'd beat me up. let's all say it together…"we love kerry."
they're re-releasing wonder boys this october. it's a great movie and everyone should go see michael douglass in his best movie since the game.
what part of "if it ain't laser paper, we won't do it" don't some people understand?
as always, check out signal drench. if you ever wanted to know how to do an indie webzine right, there's your answer.
the reverend suitably rocked my world last night. jess will probably yell at me and say "you don't even like rockabilly." but i'd have to say it…i thoroughly enjoyed the show.
matt is a chicken shit. why. we theorized that she might be a "dancer."
more later.
kerry berry not-so-hairy kerroo is cleared of all charges. more later.
wasting company time is grand. i really don't know what i'd do if i actually had to work for my money…
anyway, i'm out to see the rev. horton heat after work. that should be fun. i've never caught his live show, but i'm sure it'll be interesting.
kerroo never wrote me back…i guess my subject line wasn't flashy enough. oh well…i have bigger fish to fry.
more later tonight…
welcome to my first real post on bipolar.
i'm brian, and i'll be playing the part of the left brain around here. i do a website called transmission3000, as well as being a founding member of x:13 design. matt (right brain) and i decided to do this as a little addendum to the x:13 site to give people a glimpse at what makes us tick.
beware. it's ugly.
i'll mainly be posting little indie-rock tidbits i find while wasting company time at my day job, as well as random rantings about being stuck in the computer service industry (labeled: hell).
so have a look around, and maybe we'll say something exceptionally witty someday that you can then steal and never admit that you saw it first on some hole-in-the-wall weblog.
and then again…maybe not.
this is only a test. for more on the situation at hand, go to transmission3000.
