did anyone catch the grammys last night? i missed it. i was at work. the only reason i care is because springsteen, elvis costello, dave grohl, and some others did a tribute to joe strummer and the clash, covering "london calling." if you taped it or know where i can find an mp3, or post a comment. thank you kindly.

if you needed another reason why tom petty should be one of your favorite rock and roll artists, this interview does the trick. what other stodgy "old" rocker do you hear regularly drop references to the white stripes and kurt cobain? if you don't own full moon fever, smack yourself. i guess this all leads up to my intense depression when i found this site…could it really be true?

now i just need to quiet my obsession with the guitar tone from mary jane's last dance…

well…they finally shut of the directvdsl service. they said it was going to happen a month ago, but the service kept running smoothly. until today. i got home this afternoon to scott looking incredibly bored, not able to check his email or play any games on the internet or anything. bummer. we're signing up for service from a new provider on monday, so hopefully we won't be own for too long…

i'm sitting at work at my new job, wasting away the last few minutes of my lunch break, wishing i could just go home. well…half the day down, the other half to go, i guess.
