2000.11.05 ready to unwind:

damn. i love my morning coffee. i seriously don't think i could live without it. especially when i have a whackass schedule where i'm at work at 9am on a damn sunday. ugh.

i've come to realize why i don't have any interesting stories to tell anymore. it all stems from the fact that i don't ride public transportation anymore. now that i have a car, it seems i don't get stuck sitting around with the weirdest assortment of psychos on a regular basis. that is, of course, as long as you're not counting my close friends…

bob at some point got the band profiles posted over at heymercedes.com. they're a hoot, and i'm pretty sure there are some new pictures up, as well.

i have to post this to make sure i beat matt to it: mchawking.com. this is the funniest site i've found all weekend. it's even funnier considering i just found the narrator in windows2000, and we've been having a blast with that. now it comes out that steven hawking has had a budding rap career for some time. the best album title of the year: a brief history of rhyme.

great…looks like skippy the fannypack wearing wonder geek has stalked in for the morning. yay. "if i had a tumor, i'd name it marla…"

and lastly, i thought i'd start a new little feature around here. in my '87 honda accord, there's really only room to keep eight cds in the front seat. four in each door compartment. here's a list of the eight cds that have kept me company this week, in no particular order. make of this what you will:

driver side:
kerosene 454 – came by to kill me
insidious – noon in june
deftones – white pony
radiohead – kid a

passenger side:
hey mercedes – live (from transmission3000)
at the drive-in – relationship of command
bluetip – polymer
elliott – false cathedrals

now i have to pretend i'm working…
